IES gifted stdents peformed the musical "Dig It!"
Hosts Taki and Tut find Lucy, the oldest skeleton, who introduces them
to some of the greatest ancient civilizations and historical characters,
such as Gilgamesh, Imhotep, Confucius, and Sophocles to name just a few.

IES gifted students also completed social studies projects related to ancient history and civilizations.

IES PreK Program Honored
IES PreK teachers, Annette Gilbert and Tina Stamper, have created PreK Classrooms of Excellence based on standards set by NEFEC and the Early Reading First program. Ms. Gilbert and Ms. Stamper have been part of the Early Reading First Grant for four years. They were presented this award as a result of their hard work and dedication to the PreK students at IES during the past four years. Congratulations to Ms. Gilbert and Ms. Stamper!
