Medieval Feast
Third Grade
Following a medieval times unit of study and in preparation for a field trip to the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire in Gainesville, third grade teachers and assistants prepared and hosted a medieval feast for their students. Children dined by candle light without utensils using a wedge of bread (or their fingers) to scoop their stew. Many students dressed in period costumes for this event.
Queen Lundy and King Reeves presided over the banquet.
